I’ve brought this laptop from supreme the it mall In kolkata,
on 5th december 09. Linux textual version was preinstall in it but after bringing it to home i installed windows 7 .
But for some driver unmatch i install windows xp later. Since that day my laptop is running Very well. My intension was to buy ACER Aspire 5738 Previously, but that day that store has not that model. And they preffered me ACER Aspire 4736 model telling There is only differance between the screen 5738 has 16″ screen and 4736 Has 14″.

but actually in market free dos version is availabe with processor t6500 rest of the things are similar.
