my husband bought acer aspire 4937 in ksa on june 2009.the problem is if i used the ac line only and i push the button start it cannot open the windows.if there is a battery and i push the button start it open the windows…why is it like that?pls help..

I had my acer notebook power on 24/7 since 2005 till todate sept 2009.
centrino 1.73mhz 533fsb 2mb l2, 2gb ddr2, Ati 128mb, 80Gb hd.
pro: very reliable motherboard & stable temp.
con: unreliable DVD player/burner ( sent back for warranty 3 times).
is this acer good or just another piece of shit?
