somebody help me,.. i bought an acer aspire 4937G here in KSA, the problem is… i register my acer to product registration…when i entered my product serial number the product i purchased is already registered… what should i do?

my husband bought acer aspire 4937 in ksa on june 2009.the problem is if i used the ac line only and i push the button start it cannot open the windows.if there is a battery and i push the button start it open the windows…why is it like that?pls help..
