Acer’s tiny Aspire One laptop is now available in three breathtaking variations: the A110L, A150L, and A150X.
The A110L features the hugely popular 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, Intel’s 946GSE chipset, 512MB or 1GB of RAM, 8GB of NAND flash storage, an 8.9-inch 1024 x 600 display, 802.11b/g, and three USB ports. The other two models have the same specifications, except for a 120GB hard drive in place of the flash storage, and are offered with Linpus Linux, or Windows XP.
In some respects, the Acer Aspire One is better than an EeePC 901. It has an excellent keyboard, solid performance and is highly portable. The EeePC 901 still has the edge in terms of battery life and mouse input, so it’s a close call between the two machines.

I have this acer.. this good guys… I have been using this since a year now.. I dowload lot of movies.. its pretty fast.. more important its compact… 19k for this is a value for money.

i read above all replies of my friend… i would like to advice you all, here some ones want to go folr hp mini.. even a fool person wants to sell SONY and BUY acer.. Okay Friend if you want to throw your money here or there then must go for HP… mostly HP laptop start creating problem after 1- 1.5 yr.. my friends laptop start creating problen in 3rd month (not joking)… Service centre of HP never wants to repair a part they always go for replace it even it is motherboard or HDisk…. there are 5 laptops (including 1 mini of my own) around me, Every one has a problem in 2-3 months… I think if u want to buy laptop go for =1. IBM 2. SONY 3. LENOVO 4. ACER/DELL… rest on you… its your money.

friend,i hope u r exited to see this piece of technology.well am also,i was likely to sell my sony vaio and go for an acer or hp mini.but you stil have to listen to the technological revolution.you may have noticed that hcl came with mini lap and it failed because it was huge,less space,low battery power.so all ofa suddent there came atom processor with a capacity of 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU.but you can expect a high power processor in the next comming 3 months.
so if you are really in need you can go for this mini lap,else you can wait for the new guy to come.
