Canon has replaced its popular “Canon PowerShot A470″ with a new 10 Megapixel model – the new more compact and easier operable “Canon PowerShot A480″.This new “Canon PowerShot A480″ has a 2.5-inch LCD screen, Canon’s DIGIC III processor and includes features such as Motion detection and Face Detection.
The new “Canon PowerShot A480″ comes in silver, red, blue and black colors and has 3.3x Canon optical zoom.

hi, i have purchased this on 14 feb 2010 and it cost me exactly rs 6500/- with 4 GB card, 15 MB demo memory card,Battery charger, Camera case, 2 years warranty, strap to handle.
i bought at 7750 on 1st week of oct. m not happy with the result. is there any way to improve piture quality? i found out that a 5mgpx old cannon camera gives a better quality when zoom in my laptop. pls suggest

how much it cost price the camera canonpowershot A480
Absolutely stunning and user friendly. Can be used by all, I mean those who are not so camera savvy. But price could have been around INR 7000/-, a bit on the higher side especially with accessories which includes only a 2 GB card.
The same brand was purchased at Bangkok @ 4500 Baht equivalent to INR 6750/-
Is waranty is available in Chennai, India?
