   In general I want to state that the capacity of the AC needed can not be just decided by the room size alone as ATLEAST a few more details will be needed. Hence by visiting a shop and buying an AC this way, you may not be buying the right AC required. It is preferable to call the engineer to your place for an inspection and then decide.
   If they are not willing to come to your place to check it, you can visualise their latter day after sales service you will get from such a shop/company/dealer

    Purchased one 1.5 split Estrela model carrier a/c last month but to my surprise after installing it did’t worked more than one weak and stoped working .I lodged a complaint with the dealer he send one of his enggeniers and set it right but by replacing the circut unfortunatly for the last one weak again the same problem has come. The a/c is not working and in this humid weather I am forced to think that I commited a blunder by chosing carrier air conditionar .I will request the company to either replace the unit or take it back because it would have been much better to take a local brand a/c which can not have any goodwill / brand value in the market.The no of unit is 42NCSR018-723 with sr no.82600157 and compressor no 38 NCSR 018-723 with sr no 82600062. I request all the customer’s who have sent their enquires regarding the Estrella model which is concidered 5 star ratting a/c with best quality parts. they should rather go for a local brand which does not give any ratting or brand name because I am using assembled a/c’ for the last 15 years without any trouble or inconviniece . I will sugest all of you not to waste your hard earned money as I have done .Don’t go for any carrier a/c product.
