HP-Compaq 2230s series ultra-light business notebook – Specs,Price in India

HP has the upcoming 1.846 kg “ultra-light” business laptop line based on Intel’s Centrino 2 platform.The 12.1-inch HP-Compaq 2230s series packs Centrino 2 processors and Intel’s newest GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, which supports Microsoft DirectX 10 .

All the laptops in this series will have Intel’s new Montevina GM45 chipset and GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics.Also this series features fingerprint reader, HDMI  port ,3 USB ports,4-cell lithium-ion battery and Marvell Ethernet 10/100/1000 connection.
The starting model is of Indian Rupees(INR) 45,000 and has the Intel Core 2 Duo T5670 (1.80GHz) processor.The top model has the Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 (2.53GHz) processor ,3GB RAM,320GB HDD,802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi,DVD-Writer,and Intel’s 4500MHD graphics.It will cost around Indian Rupees(INR) 75,000.

The other processor options are Intel core 2 duo P8400 (2.26GHz) , P8600 (2.4GHz),and P9500 (2.53GHz).Here “P” means thermal envelope of only 25 watts.
