Sir, I purchased a compaq mini laptop in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 25 .11.2009 and gifted to my son living in Lucknow, INDIA. Recently its charger became defective and my son contacted your authorised centre at Lucknow for warranty coverage. To our surprise they refused to repair or replace it saying that it was purchased out of India and hence we are not responsible for its warranty . Please guide me what should I do in this regard for further action. Waiting for early reply and positive respone . Thanks
