With the introduction of two new devices HP Slate 6 and Slate 7 Voice tabs, HP is expanding its portfolio to offer to its customers what they need . HP was not a successful player in the smartphones and tablets market and thus stopped creating products in this category a few years back, but now it re enters in this market with new voice calling 6 and 7 inches tablets. India is the main target market for these tablets as voice calling tablets are quite hit in India because of their dual use as a smartphone and a tablet .

HP Slate7 VoiceTab is built on Android v4.2.2(Jelly Bean) operating system, and it features the powerful Quad Core processor, it is engineered for the way people multitask, while offering access to entertainment. It is come equipped with a 3G Dual SIM Dual Standby feature, providing voice connectivity and performance that allows people to work and play on the go. It is expected that the device will be available in India in February 2014.
