The new Maruti Ertiga is a latest mini multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in India (Maruti call it LUV – Life Utility Vehicle) with 7 people seating capacity (2 front + 3 2nd row + 2 3rd row) .Maruti Ertiga Petrol is powered by a powerful K14 series petrol engine . Maruti Ertiga Diesel is also be available and is powered by 1.3 litre DDiS engine . It has three rows of seats like the new Maruti Eeco . Its wheelbase is equal to that of Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo , so it will compete with these . It has unique feature among the all car , the Car Stepney (spare wheel) is kept under the car at the back , near the exhaust pipe (see image below) . The second row seat can slide much the back making more than enough space in the middle .

Just a value for money car . Totatly underpower 1.3lt DDIS.Go for Innova.At least u get tested toyota engine under the hood with tremendous power of 2.5lts and luxury.
To Day I have booked the ZDI-M since I think that price must be under 9.00 Lacs.I also want to say that your waiting policy compels most of your customers to switch to the other brand.Look in to the matter seriously as this is an issue which will effect your sales in the coming future.

Nice to have this for family of 5+1, Can’t compare it with Innova due to less engine capacity and leg room for back seaters. Wheels are short too. Only the mileage is as expected.

If you think of it – this is the nearly same length the first Swift Dzire (4165 mm, the new one is 3995 for excise benefits to MSIL). So this vehicle is HIGHLY CRAMPED. if you want little kids seated in the backseat, fine. otherwise, even the second seat won’t be comfortable. No chance. I don’t have to even see the car to tell this.
I wish they would rather increase new WagonR length, width and power (to those of Swift) and make a proper 5 seater at least, and make a more powerful and spacious hatchback (Ritz doens’t fit the bill, rear legroom is bad, Swift legroom is even worse)
