Mitsubishi has launched the new version of its popular Pajero SUV – Mitsubishi Pajero Sport . It is a seven seater SUV featuring driver and passenger airbags, ABS with EBD, leather-wrapped gear knob, a USB-equipped music player and a multi-information display . The new Pajero 2012 is totally different from its predecessor . It is based on the new Hilux pickup platform (similar to its competitor , Toyota Fortuner) and is powered by 2.5L commom-rail diesel engine generating max. 175bhp of power and 400Nm of torque with 4A sports mode. The new Pajero has stylish design with new designer tail-lights and Mitsubishi rally sport treatment at the front . It is available in 4×4 variant and its key competitors are Ford Endeavour , Toyota Fortuner , Renault Koloes ,and Chevrolet Captiva .
