   I think the xp installation disk is have a problem…. So you can try with new xp another disk……

   Its may be Hardware problem..clean up your computer. fix the hdd cables again..and start the xp setup..
   if again this error will occur then change the cd.

    i have a segate 750GB HDD installed with D VR ,after certain days it goes to crash, i could not be understand the region why this is so.

    Complain regarding 80GB Hard Disk as per detail bellow

    P/N : 9W2003-354
    HDA P/N : 100264014
    Config : DGE-01

    The above Hard Disk is not working please advice for replacement and recovery of data.
