AMD has anounced its latest 790GX Chipset platform.The new AMD 790GX chipset is just next to its higher-end 790FX chipset in performance but also is a good budget platform.It has the Advanced Clock Calibration feature , which allows Phenom speeds of 3.2GHz and up, and ATI Radeon HD 3300 integrated graphics.
Price and Availability : A high-end motherboard built around the 790GX when combined with a quad-core X4 9850 2.5-GHz Phenom processor will cost around Rs. 17,000 which will be around Rs. 4,000-5,000 cheaper compared to the combination of Intel’s P45 chipset with an Intel quad-core Q9300 (2.5GHz) ,claims AMD .
